Binance: Do not trust any 'listing agents', they will not charge any fees for listing applications, and reporting can earn up to $5 million in rewards
BlockBeats news, on December 17th, according to official sources, Binance announced that it has noticed a significant increase in fraudulent activities related to cryptocurrency listing, with criminals falsely impersonating Binance employees (including business development personnel), official "cryptocurrency listing agents", or authorized intermediaries. They usually promise to guarantee the listing result after charging fees. These statements are completely fraudulent. Any form of listing commitment is untrue, and Binance will not charge any fees for project evaluation or listing applications. Please strictly adhere to the following principles:
Binance does not endorse or use any third-party intermediaries: Binance does not appoint, accept, or acknowledge any individual or organization to apply for listing or negotiate on behalf of the project. Any person or organization claiming to collect fees on behalf of Binance is fraudulent. All communication related to cryptocurrency listing must come directly from the core team of the project (such as founders, co founders, C-level executives). If Binance discovers that the project is using a third-party application for listing, the application will be immediately disqualified and the project will be blacklisted, making it impossible to proceed with future applications. Binance has received reports of individuals and entities impersonating as "Binance listing agents" or claiming to be able to assist with token listing on Binance through fees. Some personnel have been blacklisted by Binance.
Binance will take strong measures, including legal action, to combat fraudulent intermediaries identified through reporting. There is a dedicated channel for reporting fraudulent behavior. If any person claiming to be an employee, affiliate, or representative of Binance contacts and requests transaction support fees, coin listing assistance fees, or any form of compensation, please report immediately. A reward of up to $5 million will be offered to whistleblowers who provide valid leads.
