Binance releases an introduction to the listing process and community warning against impersonating third-party fraud
According to the official announcement, Binance has released an introduction to the listing process and a community warning against impersonating third-party scams. Binance follows a structured listing process consisting of three stages: Binance Alpha, Binance Contracts, and Binance Spot. Binance will carefully evaluate the performance and potential of each project at each stage of this progressive process. However, in rare cases, projects that meet the necessary criteria may be directly listed on the spot market, unlocking full market access and liquidity without going through the Alpha or contract phase first.
Binance Alpha serves as the initial stage to showcase potential projects to the community. Projects that perform strongly and meet key criteria may be listed on Binance contracts, expanding trading opportunities through perpetual contracts. Projects that meet the upgrade standards will be listed on Binance Spot. For projects where tokens are already circulating in the market, various factors such as token performance, trading volume, valuation, liquidity, and distribution will also be considered during the evaluation process. In any case, Binance will evaluate the token based on its regulatory obligations. In some cases, the project may have the opportunity to be listed on the contract when Alpha is launched, depending on the project's fundamentals, secondary market indicators, compliance with market rules, and other factors. The contract listing will only be implemented with the informed cooperation of the project team, but the final listing decision will be independently evaluated and decided by Binance.
In addition, Binance has noticed a significant increase in fraudulent activities, with criminals impersonating Binance employees (including business development personnel), official "listing agents", or authorized intermediaries. They usually promise to guarantee the listing result after charging fees. These statements are completely fraudulent. Any form of listing commitment is untrue, and Binance will not charge any fees for project evaluation or listing applications. Binance has received reports of certain individuals and entities impersonating as "Binance Coin Listing Agents" or claiming to be able to help tokens be listed on Binance through fees, and has announced that they have been blacklisted by Binance's internal audit.
