[Japan's Economic Recovery Accelerates, Strong Exports Increase the Likelihood of BOJ Rate Hike] Reported by Jinse Finance, analyst Eamonn Sheridan stated that today's released trade and investment data from Japan have reinforced expectations that the Bank of Japan will raise interest rates by 25 basis points this week. Following last quarter's contraction, signs of economic recovery continue to strengthen. Japan's exports in November grew for the third consecutive month, up 6.1% year-on-year, easily surpassing market expectations. Strong demand from the U.S. and Europe, along with the global semiconductor demand rebound after the U.S. trade agreement was finalized, drove this recovery. Exports to the U.S. increased by 8.8%, while exports to the EU grew by nearly 20%, highlighting improvements in external momentum. (Jin10)
