As Chair of the ECOWAS Authority, I highlighted the rise in unconstitutional government changes as a major threat to regional stability at the 68th Ordinary Session. I reaffirmed ECOWAS’s commitment to democratic governance. I called for urgent progress in establishing the ECOWAS Single Market, improving the Trade Liberalisation Scheme, and strengthening cross-border infrastructure.
