The divide between Chinese and international Threads on X has been pretty noticeable lately. For example, @tempo's testnet went live a few days ago, but it seems like no one in the Chinese-speaking community is talking about it—even MasterCard has sent their congratulations. Then, one of the guys from @ethos_network developed a POC (proof of concept) on the Tempo testnet, launched an ethosUSD stablecoin, and defined that only users with more than 1400 Ethos can transfer funds to each other. The idea is to see if it's possible to create a stablecoin that 'can only be traded by reputable people.' Apparently, it only took a few hours of vibe coding + Tempo's developer docs to make it happen, and they said the developer experience on Tempo's platform is excellent.
