According to Kenyan media outlet *Daily Nation*, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) in Kenya is ramping up efforts to combat cryptocurrency scams. The DCI highlighted that criminals often use tactics like "fake crypto investments," "fraudulent exchange transactions (e.g., claiming operations on Binance)," and "promises of high returns" as bait. They carry out scams through fake platforms, digital wallets, and illegally registered SIM cards, then disperse and transfer funds before disappearing. Recently, police have arrested several suspects in Nairobi, Nakuru, and other areas, with some cases involving money laundering and terror financing. https://www.(wublock123.com)/index.php?m=content&c=index&a=show&catid=6&id=53499
