the EIPs that are most important to Ethereum will grow in importance and urgency over time, not diminish. ssz, bls, transient storage, the merge and countless others are all features that took (in the case of ssz is still taking) years to implement in an upgrade. if the time for them is not now, fears that it will then be never seems to me like a problem with the EIP itself, not the process. fears that opinions about the EIP will shift over time such that the EIP becomes less important and less urgent in the eyes of the Ethereum community seems to me like a problem with the EIP itself, not the process. my full take: https://christinedkim.substack.com/p/acdc-171(Christine D.
