On days without 'Flash Deals,' I lend out idle USDT through 'Simple Earn' to earn some interest. But the OKX interface always confuses me a bit every time I open it: Why do users need to input a 'minimum lending APR'? Wouldn't it be better to directly match borrowers and lenders based on their needs, letting the market decide the specific rate? Most lenders probably have no concept of APR and don’t know what number to input; those who do understand and are familiar with the market trends, like degens, are more likely lending through DeFi. I actually tried it out, and you can’t input a number lower than 1%, which is kind of strange. This results in users having 'submitted' offers but the 'amount lent' staying at 0 for a long time, with no matches or transactions happening. For some small altcoins, even a 0.5% annualized return might be valuable; and for major coins, sometimes offering users a 0.9% APR could still attract some lenders. @mia_okx @jiena_okx @KKyleChen @Haiteng_okx @star_okx
