‘Hell-level difficulty’—both longs and shorts will get wrecked if you’re doing high-frequency trading within the range. Of course, I don’t recommend high-frequency trading; retail investors are better suited for slightly longer swing cycles. My personal approach is still to stay within the channel: short at the upper edge, long at the lower edge (the edges are a range). If it breaks out or breaks down, then cut losses.
