Jan 28th is the next FOMC decision and the data released over the next 48 days will determine what happens. I wouldn't look into anything Powell says about the next cut. He'll be relying on the data. And regardless, he only has 5 months remaining in his term. Rates are getting nuked in the 2nd half of 2026 when Trump's new appointment takes over for Powell and you can bet on it.(Satoshi Flipper)
