[a16z crypto announces the establishment of an office in Seoul, South Korea]
BlockBeats News, December 11: Andreessen Horowitz's (a16z) venture capital fund, a16z crypto, announced that it is expanding its operations in Asia by establishing an office in Seoul and appointing Sungmo Park to oversee operations in the region.
In a blog post, a16z crypto stated that South Korea is the second-largest cryptocurrency market in the world. The office will collaborate with entrepreneurs by building partnerships, expanding distribution channels, and accelerating the growth of regional communities.
It is reported that Sungmo Park previously served as the Head of Asia-Pacific at the Monad Foundation and was also responsible for market promotion and ecosystem development for Polygon Labs in East Asia, Greater China, Southeast Asia, and India.
