Elon Musk: If I could start over, I wouldn't participate in DOGE In the latest issue of the Katie Miller Podcast, Elon Musk engages in a wide-ranging conversation covering topics such as the origin and development of DOGE, the impact of AI and robots on work, simulation theory, and the importance of humans becoming a multi planet species. Regarding DOGE, Musk stated that although DOGE has achieved success in certain areas, if given the option to choose again, he would focus on his own company rather than participating in DOGE projects. When it comes to AI and robots, Musk believes that with the rapid development of technology, AI and robots will be able to meet all human needs in the future, making work optional. He admitted that he had suffered from insomnia multiple times due to AI issues and hoped to slow down the pace of AI development, but the current trend is difficult to stop. He also proposed that AI and robotics technology will not only improve the quality of life on Earth, but may also help humans achieve more efficient resource management on Mars in the future. Musk also shared his views on humans becoming a multi planet species, which he believes will be an important step in evolutionary history. Although early migration to Mars and the Moon may face extremely high risks and discomfort, it is crucial for achieving interstellar survival. He stated that SpaceX's Starship project will achieve complete reusability of rockets for the first time, driving the achievement of this goal.
