[Musk Calls Government Efficiency Department 'Somewhat Successful,' Says He Won't Participate in Similar Projects Again] Odaily Planet Daily News – In an interview with *The Katie Miller Podcast*, Musk stated that the government efficiency department he once led, DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency), was 'somewhat successful.' However, if given the choice again, he would not participate in such government affairs and would instead focus his time on running his own companies. Musk explained that the name DOGE originated from an online suggestion and that the department was essentially established to reduce government spending. In the interview, he also discussed his brief experience in Washington, U.S. immigration policies, AI, and space exploration, emphasizing that the government should 'do as little as possible.' Earlier this year, Musk resigned after conflicts with the government team following political controversies over budget cuts and incidents of vandalism at several Tesla stores. He later repaired his relationship with President Trump. (Axios)
