The paid seats (i.e., employee user count) for ChatGPT workplace products have reached 7 million. In terms of message volume, the United States, Germany, and Japan are the most active markets for commercial ChatGPT usage. From an industry perspective, the median growth in AI usage across industries over the past 12 months has exceeded sixfold. OpenAI stated that AI is breaking traditional job boundaries. Seventy-five percent of employees have used AI to complete tasks they previously could not handle, including code reviews, spreadsheet automation, and technical tool development. Over the past six months, apart from engineering, IT, and research departments, code-related message volume in other functions has grown by an average of 36%.
