Zcash's privacy narrative shaken, Arkham anonymizes over half of its transactions According to BlockBeats, on December 9th, Zcash (ZEC) has shown impressive performance recently. After the US government confiscated 127000 BTC held by Chen Zhi, a spokesperson for the "Crown Prince Group", and arrested the mastermind behind the 60000 BTC money laundering case, Qian Zhimin, ZEC's privacy narrative coin price once exceeded $750. However, the new features launched on the blockchain tracking platform Arkham today have shaken the privacy narrative of Zcash (ZEC). Earlier today, Arkham added on chain monitoring for Zcash, marking over half of the protected and unprotected transactions on the Zcash privacy chain, involving a transaction volume of $420 billion and all associated with known individuals and institutions. Arkham's Zcash de anonymization process includes: 53% of Zcash transactions have been tagged; 420 billion US dollars in trading volume is attributed to specific entities; 48% of all inputs and outputs have been attributed to specific entities; 37% of Zcash balance has been marked (totaling $2.5 billion).
