Stripe has enabled USDC payments, allowing users to send remittances and make payments across borders in over 150 countries worldwide at much lower costs than before, with instant transfers. Unlike PAYPAL, it didn’t issue its own stablecoin. In fact, PAYPAL is now in a dilemma—PYUSD is only used within its system, and to expand adoption, it has to keep burning money on subsidies.
