[Matrixport: Bitcoin Stabilizes in the Short Term, Pre-Meeting Sentiment Remains Cautious]
According to a report by Jinse Finance, Matrixport released its daily chart analysis stating that as the December 10 FOMC meeting approaches, market sentiment is highly focused on relevant policy signals. Although Bitcoin's price has stabilized to some extent, it is difficult to regard this as the start of a new upward trend for now.
Options pricing currently still implies approximately 5% downside potential, with funds continuing to hedge against pullback risks. Amid the year-end trend of reducing leverage and positions, short-term rebounds are more often used as opportunities to reduce holdings rather than signals for new positions.
From a seasonal perspective, market liquidity tends to tighten around Christmas, which often suppresses the sustainability of upward trends. The current key level between bullish and bearish sentiment is roughly at $91,500. From a probabilistic standpoint, the baseline scenario remains one of continued volatility compression, with the likelihood of a strong breakout immediately following the FOMC meeting being relatively limited.
