Two long-dormant wallets associated with Casascius physical Bitcoins recently moved approximately 2,000 BTC, worth around $180 million, after remaining untouched for over a decade. These BTC had not been transacted since 2011 and 2012, when Bitcoin's price was under $15, compared to nearly $90,000 today. Casascius was once a physical offline storage solution with embedded private keys, but production ceased in 2013 due to regulatory pressure from FinCEN. Currently, about 90,000 physical coins are still in circulation, most containing only small amounts of BTC. Only six coins and 16 gold bar versions contain 1,000 BTC each.
