[Elon Musk Denies 'SpaceX Targeting $800 Billion Valuation' Rumors]
According to reports from Cailian Press, in response to rumors that commercial spaceflight leader SpaceX is 'targeting an $800 billion valuation and aiming for an IPO next year,' Musk replied on social media that the news about SpaceX raising funds at an $800 billion valuation is 'not accurate.'
He added that SpaceX has been a cash flow-positive company for many years and conducts two stock buybacks annually to provide liquidity for employees and investors. The company's valuation growth depends on the progress of Starship and Starlink, as well as obtaining spectrum for global direct-to-mobile network connectivity. However, Musk did not comment on the claim that SpaceX is 'aiming for an IPO next year.'
