Taking a cab in Dubai, my friend asked the driver if he was Indian. The driver replied that he was Pakistani, and said, 'We are the best partners.' The driver then asked if we were international students or here for the Binance expo. We said, 'You know Binance too?' He said recently, people everywhere—in malls, Chinatown, and on the streets—are wearing Binance shirts and taking cabs to the Binance exhibition. Binance is 'the most famous, most great crypto company.' He even has the Binance app and a Binance account. I was honestly shocked by how widespread the crypto industry is in Dubai. The sky gets dark early in Dubai, and seeing the urban landscape of steel and concrete around me really moved me. These tangible, visible macro-world structures are what people admire and interact with, but I thought it would be hard for them to experience the beauty of the crypto world. Turns out Binance has already made its way into every corner of the city. Great companies are never about self-promotion—they’re defined by the voices of the people from every street and alley.
