SOL is becoming more and more like the old ETH. Maybe the way ETH developed back then is how SOL will develop now. I’ve always wondered why all those rumors about the SOL Foundation’s meme projects from last year completely disappeared this year. The most bizarre thing is that the SOL Foundation clearly no longer seems dedicated to pushing memes, which was their original breakout path. Even when BSC memes were going crazy, they didn’t go all-in. Instead, they kept talking about ICM, CCM… things that sound more formal. I thought about this for a long time, and the conclusion I came to is this: memes have fulfilled their historical mission in the SOL Foundation’s strategy. Now, they need to move on. It’s just like how first-gen crypto whales made big money through meme PVPs and then started talking about U.S. stocks, secondary markets, and value investing. Once you’ve accumulated the initial capital, breaking into the old money circles is the real game. Meanwhile, BSC memes are starting to look more like the old SOL memes. History doesn’t repeat itself, but it rhymes. That turtle Franklin is the best proof of this.
