In recent weeks, we engaged with the IMF, IDB, World Bank Group, CAF, the CDB, and leaders at the G20. The strong and coordinated support we received is a clear vote of confidence in Jamaica’s governance. It reflects our record of fiscal discipline, responsible debt management, stronger institutions, and ongoing progress in reducing corruption. Jamaica is now viewed as a credible and trustworthy sovereign, and that credibility unlocked this level of international assistance at a critical moment.(Andrew Holness)
