It's not like I want to roast these ICO projects every day, but what they're doing is just way too abstract.
If @infinex didn’t have a one-year lock-up and a quick release clause with a $1B FDV, I’d keep my mouth shut. Like, if they went with a $300M FDV and 100% TGE, the chances of breaking even at launch would be much higher, and it’d feel way more sincere.
And then there’s @zama. What’s the red flag with this Dutch auction?
10% of the token supply sold to retail investors. If you sold 3% or 5%, I could understand. But 10%? Doesn’t anyone think that’s way too much?
So here’s the question: if 10% of the tokens are sold to retail, at what valuation are they being sold? You don’t seriously think you’re getting ZAMA at floor price with a $55M FDV, do you?
Come on! The last round led by Pantera Capital was at a $1B valuation...
So, what you’re saying is, as long as retail buys in at a $1B valuation, it’s officially hunting season for retail investors to take down the VCs, right?
