I’ve collaborated with them before, so I know the team to some extent. Looking at the outcome, they really couldn’t make it to the end of the road; But judging by the process, they’ve done pretty well, including early communication, asset liquidation, protocol open-sourcing—everything that needed to be addressed was addressed. User funds can be withdrawn normally, and all staking rewards have been distributed as expected. Being able to handle things this way at this stage is actually not easy. To be blunt, with their current TVL, if they wanted to be less ethical and just launch a token to cash out and leave, it’s not like no one has done that before. But they didn’t go down that path, which already makes them far more responsible than many other projects. Terminal’s ending is just a reflection of this cycle. I hope the team can find a new direction in the future! In the crypto winter, leaving gracefully is a form of courage in itself.
