After reading the tweets of Lao Wu and Feng Mi, I really feel that trust is the most lacking and precious thing in this industry. In recent days, I have been helping several colleagues deal with some aftermath matters. One of the core members and long-time friends of these colleagues in the team has caused the team to fall apart due to interest issues.
Coincidentally, there is also a team that communicated all the terms at the beginning, owed several contracts, and tied up many partners. When they didn't make any money, everyone was helping, but when they did make money, the founder picked the fruit himself, while others received almost nothing. It was precisely because of trust that these core developers left their hometowns and worked for two years, only to end up in such a situation.
The most difficult thing to test in the face of money or interests is trust, or in other words, trust in most people has a price. When this price does not touch one's own emotions, trust can be established.
one ⃣ Trust=companionship
Building trust is a long-term process, which involves experiencing hardships together, reaping fruits, and working together for a long time. Therefore, trust is a form of companionship.
Companionship may be the safest "investment" I can think of, and the returns may not be very high, but it is indeed very effective because companionship has earned me a lot of trust and good friends. Companionship is also the most authentic portrayal of me since entering Twitter. I hope to be by the side of all my friends.
You can find me here when you need me, and I hope my company can help you feel less lost.
In reality, companionship is not meant to be spoken of, but rather something that runs through my entire life, whether it's family, friends, or partners.
two ⃣ Going out=a wider world
Last month, I was chatting with my friends and mentioned that I have been in Singapore for two years now, and only a small amount of money was earned because I came to Singapore. At that time, I joked that if I were in Shanghai, I would have "earned" more money because of the low cost, but would I regret coming to Singapore later? Not at all.
Although coming to Singapore did not allow me to make money directly for the time being, it allowed me to gain many experiences that I had never had in Shanghai before. I made friends that I may never have met in my lifetime in Shanghai, gained a wider understanding, and even had great fun. With my accumulation in Singapore, there are more and more opportunities to make money.
Compared to when I was in Shanghai, I have made significant improvements both psychologically and physically. Stepping out of my previous comfort zone, I have also established a new one. I often encourage my friends around me, it doesn't mean going abroad, it doesn't mean moving, but rather stepping out of one's own inherent cognition. The world is big, and every step you take will bring more rewards.
three ⃣ Choice=Willingness
Choosing and losing is like a stop loss in trading. Although it may seem like a loss, if I continue to take orders, I may lose even more. Although many friends say that I may be able to turn losses into profits by resisting, it is indeed the case. I have also had this experience and have succeeded several times, but I have found that once I develop this habit, I will become lucky and the ultimate result will be a liquidation.
In life, it's the same. Although adults don't make choices, most of the time they still face many choices. No one knows how different the results of choosing or not will be. When it's time to let go, let go. Letting go is not giving up, but preparing for the next "challenge".
Shede, let go, only with letting go can there be gain. This is what the old man said, but for me, giving up more negative emotions, anxiety, unease, and jealousy are what I most want to give up, even a kind of persistence.
The way to make choices lies in looking at the long term. For example, for me, I gave up the anxiety brought by short-term gains and instead used more time for studying, living, entertainment, and even coding. What I gained was long-term returns, which could be positive, such as BTC, or negative, such as DOT.
For friends, spend more time with them and be more tolerant. For troubles, let go when necessary. Going out for a walk in your free time may bring more rewards.
