[South Korea's Upbit Exchange Revises Stolen Amount to 44.5 Billion KRW] According to a report by Jinse Finance, South Korean digital asset exchange Upbit experienced a hacking attack today (November 27), resulting in the theft of approximately 44.5 billion KRW (around $30 million) in assets, primarily involving digital assets on the Solana network. Upbit detected abnormal transactions at 4:41 AM on the same day and reported the incident to regulatory authorities. South Korean police and financial regulatory agencies have launched an on-site investigation into the operator, Dunamu, which is expected to continue until December 5. Upbit stated that it will fully compensate customer losses with company assets to ensure zero loss for users. Earlier reports indicated that Upbit disclosed the attack, with approximately 54 billion KRW worth of tokens transferred to an unknown wallet.
