[MoonPay Approved by New York State Regulators to Provide Cryptocurrency Custody and OTC Trading Services] According to a report by Golden Finance, crypto journalist Eleanor Terrett disclosed on the X platform that MoonPay has been approved by the New York State Department of Financial Services (NYDFS) for a Limited Purpose Trust Charter, allowing it to provide cryptocurrency custody and OTC trading services in New York State. MoonPay had previously obtained a BitLicense. Currently, the entities holding both regulatory licenses include Coinbase, PayPal, Ripple, and NYDIG.
