Arrived in Luanda, Angola, for the 7th African Union-European Union Summit and the Second Session of the Ad Hoc Oversight Committee on African Union Institutional Reform. The AU-EU Summit offers us a chance to review 25 years of Africa Europe cooperation and tackle shifting geopolitical priorities, funding gaps, and rising security pressures. At the AU meeting, we will focus on institutional reforms aimed at making the Union fit for purpose, ensuring it serves Africa’s needs with greater clarity and impact.(William Samoei Ruto, PhD)
