[Monad Mainnet Officially Launched, Spot Price on Coinbase Matches Public Sale Price]
BlockBeats news, November 24, according to official sources, the Monad mainnet has officially launched.
According to the project's tokenomics model, 50.6% of the total MON supply will initially be locked, including nearly 26.9 billion tokens allocated to the team, 19.6 billion tokens allocated to investors, and 3.9 billion tokens allocated to the Monad treasury. Unlocking will begin in the second half of 2026 and will gradually increase quarterly according to the published unlocking schedule until the end of 2029.
Upon the launch of the Monad mainnet, several mature crypto projects will be operational, including MetaMask and Phantom wallets, decentralized exchanges Curve and Uniswap, as well as protocols for stablecoins such as USDC, USDT0, and AUSD. The network is compatible with EVM bytecode, meaning developers can easily redeploy Ethereum-compatible applications.
As of the time of writing, the spot trading price on Coinbase is $0.0248, essentially the same as the public sale price.
