Only 8 days left for the final phase of Zama, and word is that details about the ZAMA token have been revealed. Let’s keep grinding for that OG NFT to boost our weight! @Zama, in collaboration with deBerry’s, has launched an on-chain sealed-bid auction: all bids are processed with fully homomorphic encryption (FHE) on fhEVM. The smart contract compares encrypted bids and determines the highest one without decrypting them; only the winner can decrypt and claim their prize after the auction, while all other bids remain permanently confidential. It’s currently running on Sepolia, supporting both NFTs and physical merchandise, with full on-chain settlement. The computation-heavy parts are offloaded to Zama’s co-processor, keeping gas fees super low. More importantly, @Zama is bringing “fully private” auctions to real-world use cases, naturally resisting frontrunning and sniping. It’s perfect for high-value NFTs, RWA, OTC deals, and DAO bidding, while also proving the performance and cost boundaries of FHE in DeFi transactions. The project is still in the testing phase, so it’s recommended to dive in, try it out, and provide feedback. Looking at the bigger picture, Zama is turning privacy into native on-chain infrastructure.
