Sharing the latest updates from Succinct: 'Reducing the cost of real-time Ethereum verification to $100,000.'
What does this mean? Real-time Ethereum verification aims to provide accurate and fast validation at the moment a transaction or state change occurs. This is a prerequisite for various on-chain activities (wallets / DeFi / cross-chain). The faster and more accurate the verification, the better the experience for subsequent services.
Back in May, an SP1 Hypercube cluster capable of real-time verification of >900 mainnet blocks required around 160 RTX 4090 GPUs, with a construction cost of approximately $300,000-$400,000. But now, the cost has been slashed again and again, bringing the price way down. The era of home-based real-time verification has arrived!
