[Argentine Congressional Report: President Milei's Involvement in Libra Token Case May Constitute Misconduct] According to a report by Golden Finance, the Argentine Chamber of Deputies' investigative committee has released the final report on the Libra collapse, alleging that President Javier Milei provided 'critical collaboration' to the project and recommending that Congress evaluate whether this constitutes misconduct. The report states that Milei had previously posted in support of Libra, after which the project’s associated wallets cashed out $107 million, leaving 114,410 wallets at a loss. The committee also linked this incident to projects like KIP Protocol, pointing out a recurring pattern of 'fund pools being drained after presidential endorsements,' suggesting government evasion of regulatory oversight. Milei has denied the allegations and dissolved the internal investigation team in May. He and the founder of Libra are currently under judicial investigation and also face a class-action lawsuit.
