The BTCFi project launching at this time is purely about issuing tokens for the sake of issuing tokens, there’s no other reason. The BTCFi sector is a mess. Many project teams are overly confident, thinking their TVL is high and that they’re undervalued by the market. In reality, a lot of the TVL is heavily inflated, not to mention the lack of liquidity activity—it’s all stagnant. It’s not just BOB; many projects have no idea how to build an ecosystem, and their infrastructure is a complete disaster.
