According to Foresight News, citing The Verge, Trump is considering signing an executive order as early as November 21. The executive order would grant the federal government unilateral authority to regulate artificial intelligence, including the establishment of a 'Special Task Force on AI Litigation' overseen by the Attorney General. Members of the task force would include David Sacks, the White House Director of Cryptocurrency and Artificial Intelligence. Its sole responsibility would be to challenge state-level AI laws. The task force would have the authority to sue state governments deemed to be obstructing the development of the AI industry.
