META TO BLOCK AUSTRALIAN TEENS UNDER 16 BY DEC. 10 Meta will deactivate Instagram, Facebook, and Threads accounts for Australian users under 16 by December 10 to comply with the country’s new minimum-age law. Affected users will get 14 days’ notice starting Thursday and can download their data.
