In 2017 and 2021, we saw BTC's market dominance plummet, with altcoins skyrocketing and attracting retail investors from outside the market. These newly entered speculative retail investors then continued selling, dragging the market into a prolonged bear market. This time, such a situation hasn’t occurred, which is why I believe the correction cycle and magnitude will be smaller than in 2018/2022, and more similar to the correction in 2019.
