The White House is reviewing proposed rules submitted by the Treasury Department to join the global crypto tax reporting framework CARF. This framework, created by the OECD in 2022, aims to combat offshore tax evasion by enabling member countries to automatically share information on citizens' crypto assets. The Trump administration had previously supported advancing this rule, believing that joining CARF would help the IRS access U.S. taxpayers' overseas crypto account information, reduce asset outflows, and avoid imposing new reporting obligations on DeFi transactions. The global implementation of CARF is expected to begin in 2027. (Decrypt) https://www.(wublock123.com)/index.php?m=content&c=index&a=show&catid=6&id=52021
