Another big move from Alibaba: The Qianwen app is officially live! Looks like Alibaba is gearing up to create a super AI gateway. Today, the Qianwen app officially launched its public beta, focusing on being 'free and accessible to everyone.' The web and PC versions are also available simultaneously, marking Alibaba's full-on entry into the AI-to-C market. However, the latest news is that shortly after the public beta launch, Qianwen faced a traffic surge, with user overload causing some service congestion and interruptions. Qianwen seems to be Alibaba's third key strategic move this year, following Flash Sale and AI infrastructure, signaling that Alibaba's consumer-facing AI strategy is coming full circle. It’s becoming more apparent that Alibaba’s overall business is getting more streamlined: - After Jiang Fan returned to the core team, Flash Sale helped stabilize the decline in the e-commerce business. - Their efforts and layout in AI are also proving effective. - Then there’s the organizational restructuring—after splitting into six units, they’ve now returned to the 'One Alibaba' structure, which helps consolidate their fighting power. Of course, the risk is that the better Alibaba does in AI, the more likely it is to be closely watched by the U.S. Just a couple of days ago, the Financial Times reported that a White House national security memo accused Alibaba of providing tech support for China’s military actions targeting the U.S. These little moves can occasionally dampen market sentiment. Alibaba’s U.S. stock tokens are also available on the blockchain-based U.S. stock platform @MSX_CN. Check it out: http://(msx.com)
