Community user @ChinaWhaleETH reported that their OKX wallet, which they had used for 4 years, was hacked for 50 ETH despite 'no private key leakage,' raising concerns in the market about a potential wallet system issue. In response, OKX's Hai Teng publicly stated that on-chain tracking confirmed the user's seed phrase was not generated by the OKX wallet and was initially stored in a notepad on an internet-connected computer, which is considered a high-risk practice. Additionally, assets in the user's other addresses on OKX Wallet showed no abnormalities, suggesting there is no 'wallet backdoor' issue.
