[Applied Digital Completes Pricing of $2.35 Billion Senior Secured Notes for North Dakota Data Center Expansion] According to GlobeNewswire, Applied Digital (Nasdaq: APLD) announced that its subsidiary, APLD Compute, has completed the pricing of $2.35 billion in senior secured notes with a coupon rate of 9.25% and a maturity date in 2030. The issuance price is 97%, and the transaction is expected to close around November 20. The funds raised will be used for the construction of the 100MW and 150MW data centers ELN-02 and ELN-03 at the Ellendale campus in North Dakota, repayment of existing loans, replenishment of debt service reserves, and payment of related expenses. The notes are unconditionally guaranteed by multiple subsidiaries and are secured by related assets and equity as priority collateral. The company stated that it will provide completion guarantees for the aforementioned data centers.
