Unpopular opinion: Kaito is the WORST thing that happened to CT 1) Kaito created AI slop influencers who farm engagement through mutual reply spam, since now they can get paid if they farm enough yaps or quacks or snaps or whatever. 2) What's even worse, those “KOLs” gained insanely high relevance in the space even though they made 0 off web3 themselves, only pure influencer money. They post shit, they bring 0 value, nobody knows why, but they keep consuming this garbage “GM” content, but they still do. 3) Promotion of your project is at ATL prices, since hundreds of people are ready to make dozens of posts almost for free (it’s money for them). I joined one Kaito group that pays 150 per post for people with 1,000+ smart followers, and there are more interested people than there is budget. 4) This also led to even easier launch and promotion of projects, making it easier to extract liquidity (you can look at current sales, their valuation, and how much they raise). 5) And I think it led to significant changes in X algorithms, since too many people started abusing it, and it became harder to highlight yourself through all this garbage. So as a KOL, you get fewer deals, the deals you get are worse, and there is a lot of competition with “KOLs” who barely have 5 figs but somehow have a voice in this space. And as a USER, you’re consuming more garbage content and don’t even understand why you read the people you read. Try to prove me wrong.(Hanzo ㊗️)
