When I read people talking about “using bitcoin”, or that bitcoin adoption is inevitable, I never understand what this means. How do you actually use Bitcoin? What is Bitcoin adoption? No one accepts bitcoin, the merchants who do, only accept Fiat and sell your bitcoin at point of sale. This is merely selling, bitcoin a.k.a. price speculation. Is using bitcoin meant to buy and hold? So again, price speculation. So, what can you actually do with this coin that Bitcoiners call “adoption”? Asking for a friend!(Dr. Julian Hosp)
