[Canary's Spot XRP ETF First-Day Trading Volume Reaches $58 Million, Surpassing Bitwise's Solana ETF]
According to The Block, Bloomberg senior ETF analyst Eric Balchunas stated that Canary Capital's XRP ETF (ticker: XRPC) began trading on Thursday morning, with a first-day trading volume of $58 million, setting the highest first-day trading volume among nearly 900 newly listed ETFs this year. Balchunas earlier mentioned on the X platform that XRPC's trading volume reached $26 million within the first hour. Previously, the record was held by Bitwise's Solana ETF (ticker: BSOL), which had a first-day trading volume of approximately $57 million and surged to $72 million on the second day. When discussing the issuance of XRPC and BSOL this year, Balchunas noted that these two funds stand out, as the trading volume of the third-ranked fund trails them by over $20 million.
