The biggest benefit is that Gas fees can be paid by a third party, or you can use other tokens on the chain to pay. You can also batch transactions, which saves a lot on Gas fees. I used to often run into situations where I didn’t have enough Gas fees and had to transfer funds from another wallet or exchange.
