[France Fully Lifts Travel Ban on Telegram CEO] According to a report by Jinse Finance, during the investigation of the messaging platform Telegram by French authorities, the travel ban on the company's CEO, Pavel Durov, has been fully lifted. Law enforcement had been investigating whether Durov conspired to allow criminal activities to occur on the app. Initially, he was ordered to remain in France, but in June, Durov won a relaxation of the restrictions, allowing him to make limited trips to Dubai. In August a year ago, French authorities arrested Durov at Paris airport as he disembarked from a private jet, a move that made global headlines. He was detained and interrogated for four days and charged with conspiracy to allow criminal activities to occur on the app. He has consistently denied these allegations. At the time, he was required to pay a bail of €5 million ($5.8 million), was prohibited from leaving France, and was ordered to report to authorities twice a week.
