Looks like token launches have gone back to their original purpose of pre-selling tokens under the guise of creating hype and distributing tokens . It's basically just offloading tokens and draining liquidity in advance, but now they're doing it before the TGE. After all, the tokens in hand are going to be sold eventually. For example, if the original plan was to open at $1, but they dump all the way down and no one catches it, they can't sell much and still get criticized. So instead, they set it at $0.8 under the fancy name of 'sharing profits with the community,' essentially leaving 20% of the space for early buyers to dump together. But the project team ends up selling a big chunk at $0.8, and when the price drops later, they can innocently say, 'We distributed all the tokens, it’s the buyers who dumped them!'
