I spoke with @bundeskanzler Merz, just after visiting the command posts of our combat brigades and corps. I briefed him on the current situation at the front, and we discussed the key steps that could strengthen our defense. I am grateful to Germany for its support – since the start of the full-scale war, German assistance has saved thousands of our people’s lives. We particularly value help with air defense systems, military packages, and support for our resilience. I thanked Friedrich for the political backing of opening an export office for Ukrainian weapons in Berlin. We are actively working on the launch and will stay in contact. We also coordinated our positions on the European track and in bilateral relations. I value his advice and assured Friedrich that Ukraine will do everything necessary to strengthen partners’ trust.
