EigenCloud and LayerZero Launch Cross-Chain Verification Network EigenZero

Ethereum re-staking infrastructure platform EigenCloud and omnichain interoperability protocol LayerZero have jointly launched the decentralized verification network EigenZero. EigenZero is based on the CryptoEconomic DVN Framework, supported by EigenCloud infrastructure, and backed by approximately $5 million worth of staked ZRO tokens. The network adopts an optimistic verification model, assuming messages are correct by default and setting an 11-day challenge period. If errors or malicious behavior are discovered upon final confirmation, the corresponding staked assets will be slashed, introducing economic penalty constraints for cross-chain message verification and providing security guarantees.
