The projects I’ve supported before, especially public chains, I always repeatedly emphasize to them: don’t blindly pursue so-called decentralization and fairness. Instead, keep an open attitude toward early ecosystem projects. For the first few projects, like Meme, you must personally support teams you know well, whether it’s for security reasons or to set a benchmark. Once the ecosystem enters a stable growth phase, then gradually let go and allow more people to join and compete within the ecosystem. Otherwise, you have no idea what level or vision these project teams actually have. You think they’re here to accompany you in building and committing to the long-term, but in reality, they’re just here to grab a grant, ride the hype, and leave you to clean up the mess. This kind of behavior is extremely harmful to the ecosystem and its users.
