WuBlockchain has learned that the Lido DAO community has initiated a liquidity buyback proposal, aiming to introduce an automated LDO buyback mechanism. This mechanism will deploy LDO/wstETH liquidity in a Uniswap-v2 style LP position across the board and retain ownership of the position within the Aragon Agent. The goal is to remove LDO from circulation through the buyback mechanism while enhancing the utility of LDO.
